The Cammino della Pace

In order to carry out this project, the Association bearing the same name as the Cammino was born in 2018; the project sees the participation of the Municipal Administrations of the towns hosting the stages, experts in the area, other Associations, and volunteers: a broad collaboration and a great commitment, for the rediscovery of a unique and extraordinary territory. Each Municipal Administration provides its own resources and a telephone number that is always active: where to refresh and where to rest for the night, where to put the seal on the Credential and any other needs. The active involvement of the Municipal Administrations is a tangible sign of how much the Camino is inscribed and almost engraved in the places crossed, becoming a participatory going, so that the wayfarer-pilgrim is welcomed as a Friend and not as a stranger, as a sign of a renewed sense of ancient hospitality, made of gladness and care.
